Promotion & Education

Promoting agriculture and educating the public about its importance is what Farm Bureau’s Promotion and Education Programs is all about. A committee of 10 volunteers helps direct this program to insure an accurate message about agriculture is delivered to those not involved in farming. The program works with teachers, students and Farm Bureau leaders in a variety of ways.

Young Farmers & Ranchers

The Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Program provides learning and leadership opportunities for Missouri's young farm families. A 16-member committee is responsible for organizing a leadership conference every February that is the largest of its kind in the nation. Young farmers also compete in several Farm Bureau-sponsored contests. College students are involved in Farm Bureau through Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapters at six universities in Missouri.
