  1. Look at the picture. 
  2. Read the sentence. 
  3. Try to say the words. 
  4. Listen to the spoken words.
  5. Say the sentence again.
  6. Listen to the words again.
These are chickens.
  A male chicken is a rooster. 
A female chicken is a hen.
Hens lay eggs.
This carton contains twelve brown eggs.
This carton contains one dozen brown eggs.
This carton contains twelve white eggs.
The carton contains one dozen white eggs.
There are eight brown eggs and four white eggs.
Six eggs make one-half dozen.
One egg is broken.
The yolk is round and yellow.
