Teacher Page
Apples for English Language Learners
This webpage is one of several developed for English Language Learners. The pages will be most useful for teachers who can have someone help the language learner. Each section on the web page includes a photo and then a sentence describing that photo. Students should be assisted with understanding each sentence. To the right of each written sentence is a link that will allow the learner to hear the sentence spoken. The learner can listen to the sentence as many times as desired. Teachers or their assistants are encouraged to help the language learner. Eventually, the learner can then work alone for repetition as desired.
These lesson plans are not grade specific. They can be used at any grade level for beginning English Language Learners.
