Teacher Information:

I hope you and your students enjoy the activities that are presented on this page.  There are so many activities available to do with pumpkins!  Before your class explores the Pumpkin WebQuest page, they need to be familiar with a bar graph and how to create a bar graph.  It would also be beneficial to read one of the books listed below as an introduction to the unit.  Print off the Pumpkin template and make as many copies as you need for the Life Cycle booklets.

Additional Resources and Activities:

Pumpkin Circle:  The Story of a Garden by George Levenson.  Tricycle Press, 2002.

Pumpkin Pumpkin by Jeanne Titherington.  Greenwillow Books, 1986.
