Before I came to Missouri Farm Bureau, I worked at the Food and Agriculture Policy Research Institute at the University of Missouri-Columbia and served as the Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture and Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senator Kit Bond. I worked with former MFB President Charlie Kruse, Bob Hitzhusen and other Farm Bureau staff on various issues and saw firsthand how this grassroots farm organization makes a real difference. Farm Bureau is not only the Voice of Agriculture but also a leader in Missouri’s insurance industry. I knew early on that I would like to be a part of the organization if the opportunity ever presented itself.
Farm Bureau provides opportunities to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives. We are blessed with tremendous leadership at all levels, a dedicated and professional staff and members who give of their time to help enhance the lives of all Missourians. Every facet of the organization, from the president and field staff to the state board and county elected leaders, works together to implement the policies adopted by members. Farm Bureau is an organization where expectations are high, people still care about each other and honesty and integrity still matter.
