Missouri Farm Bureau, the state’s largest farm organization, recognizes the importance of agritourism to farmers and ranchers seeking additional revenue sources and the general public as a way of connection to agriculture for entertainment, educational and nostalgic purposes. Bringing the general public directly to the farm or ranch can give them a chance to have a personal experience with farming or ranching activities as well as historic, cultural or natural attractions. MOFB’s goal is for them to walk away from the experience with a better understanding and appreciation for agriculture.
