Krista Hardecke to MFB Promotion and Education Committee
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Krista Hardecke of Owensville, Mo., has been appointed to Missouri Farm Bureau’s Promotion and Education (P&E) Committee.
Hardecke’s appointment to the P&E committee was made at Missouri Farm Bureau’s annual meeting Dec. 7 at the Lake of the Ozarks. She represents District 5 in the east central area of the state. As a member of the 10-person committee, she will help develop, implement and evaluate projects and programs that promote agriculture. The committee works to strengthen Missouri Farm Bureau and provides leadership development for all members.
Hardecke and her husband, Ron, farm 700 acres in Gasconade County. The farm includes a 100-sow farrow-to-finish operation and a 100-cow herd. Besides being a farm wife, Hardecke has also taught math. She has served on the Gasconade County Farm Bureau board as secretary and has been in Farm Bureau activities for many years. She has been involved in the Cattlemen’s Association and helped found the area Pachyderm Club.
The couple has four grown children and are members of the First Baptist Church in Owensville.
